Hello, new here and wanting to say “hi”.

Right now, I am going through a learning phase and am delighted to have found a community where I believe I will be able to learn what I need to know about Odin. I must let it be known that I am not traditional in the least, but am undergoing several changes right now.

Odin only came into my life within the last few weeks. I find him highly interesting. His aspect as a patron of poets especially strikes me, and I find something new to admire about him every time I research.

He has a very strong personality when he communicates, and that is something that I admire greatly. He certainly is sure of himself. It is almost overwhelming, but makes it so worth it to feel him smiling at me.

I feel a kinship with someone who would go through so much to learn things, to find inspiration, and to make certain that others can learn and be inspired.

This is not to neglect his stance as a warrior's patron. It is a strong feeling, and I think that it is what draws me to him the most. Even there is inspiration, and it feels just... right.

I would write more, but I am a very shy person by nature. If anyone wants to know more of my thoughts or anything like that, please ask me, and I will be perfectly willing to answer.

Welcome. :)

I think you'll find as you learn more, that none of our Gods are simple, and rather they are all multifaceted, and that individuals respond uniquely to certain aspects over others. We all learn in different ways, afterall. :)
